I’m a dedicated sound designer with a deep passion for creating. My love for film and music is a major source of inspiration in my work, where I aim for perfection in every detail. Outside of work, I enjoy reading biographies to better understand people and their stories. I’ve been a big fan of Elvis Presley since I was young — his music has always moved me. I'm also a loyal Ajax supporter and follow the club closely. With a sharp ear and a creative mind, I continue to challenge myself with every project.

I'm an international creative with a background in audio engineering and music production. Driven by curiosity and movement - whether that’s through street photography or any other artistic form of expression, music is a constant in my life. I’m a dedicated producer who loves to work on audio related projects. Starting out in the field as a sound designer for film myself, I still have an ear (and a soft spot), for intricately designed soundscapes, a crisp dialogue edit or a masterfully mixed project. Hailing from the suburbs of New York City, I now call Amsterdam home. I’m a huge live music fan, but if I’m not at a concert you can find me at my DJ club, my bookclub, my knit club or happily at home with our dog Homer.

For over 35 years, I’ve been active in the world of (applied) music, publishing, and music copyright. A field where my passion for creativity and law come together. I’ve been with TFA for 25 years now and currently serve as Head of Publishing. In this role, I support TFA Publishing, TRX Music Publishing, composers, and media companies in managing, protecting, and making the most of their musical works. I believe in personal involvement, clear agreements, and the value of long-term partnerships. Music is emotion, but it’s also a valuable asset. I see it as my mission to help creators safeguard that asset with care and integrity.

I’m an all-round audio creative working across film, advertising, music, and live environments, basically anything that involves sound, I like to be part of it. Over time I’ve found myself drawn to every layer of the process, from shaping ideas to diving into the technical side behind them. I’m especially curious about how sound works on both levels, what it does emotionally and what’s actually happening under the hood, and I tend to chase both until it clicks. That curiosity keeps me learning, experimenting, and occasionally overthinking things in a good way. Outside of work, I enjoy time with friends and family, and I like to believe I explore different cuisines, even if it sometimes ends with a quick stop at a snackbar.

Music has always been at the heart of everything I do. It all began with Pirate radio in the ’80s and Public radio in the ’90s. In 1994, I found my home at TFA, a family-run business that became the foundation of this journey. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to shaping TFA, and now TRX, into what they’re evolving. It’s been an incredibly rewarding ride so far, and I’m all in on taking TFA and TRX to the next level.
