Dolby Atmos

What is a Dolby Atmos mix?

Short answer

A Dolby Atmos mix places voices, music and effects as objects in a three-dimensional space, in one master that adapts to any playback system.

A Dolby Atmos mix is a mix in which voices, music and effects are placed as objects in a three-dimensional space. The mixer works in a studio with speakers all around and overhead. The result is a single master file that adapts to the playback system: cinema, home theater, soundbar, phone or headphones. Among other projects, we created an Atmos mix for the film Bad Slippers and for the SIRE campaign in cinemas. Read about Bad Slippers.
